I've been working on my second solo album of guitar instrumentals on-and-off for well over a decade now. I am very happy to report that I am nearly there.

There are many who seek the One True Pick, and a smaller number who will claim to have found it.

I’m proud that I can hold up a shrinkwrapped CD with a barcode on it and say, “That’s my album. I wrote that.”

Observant listeners could be forgiven for wondering where the hell the Indigo Down lockdown video is that I promised you all last year.

It's self-isolation day 113 here at Murray Mansions, and everything is wearing thin.

I’m having a bad day today. I guess we all are.

...your call is important to us. But we are going through a number of things at the moment, and honestly haven't felt capable of blogging for a while.

Small point of order – I have retroactively changed Clive’s Album of the Year 2011.

Sometimes I post stuff on here that doesn't sound very happy, or not like I'm in a very good place.

Many years ago, I came up with an excellent name for a cocktail – the "Gin Diesel".

So when I launched this blog, 3 years ago this month, it was mainly because I had discovered the wonder of the Raspberry Pi and wanted an excuse to buy one (that wasn't bitcoin mining) so a blog server seemed like a good idea.

I have no idea.

You know how it is. Blogging comes and goes in phases.

A friend just posted on Twitter "Remember, remember the 5th of November" and I immediately felt crushingly depressed.
